WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME?

            I am Thaleia/Thalia and offer you the gifts of flourishing, abundance, blooming—all meanings of my name whether in Greek or Latin.  Also pastoral poetry and a mask of comedy combined with a touch of humor: a-muse-ment and lightness.  I offer you gifts of the Muses and the Graces, both of which I am a part of.   As a Muse I was the eighth daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne and as a Grace I was born of Zeus and Euryrome, daughter of Oceanus.  I become the mother of the Corybentes by Apollo.

 

 

WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?

            I want you to recognize that even in times of seeming need and anxiety, I am part of you, offering gifts of flourishing and abundance in the areas that are really important along with a sense of humor.  Remember how I came to you, as a turtle in a pastoral landscape, as otherworldly. 

 

HOW WILL I REMEMBER?

            As you live your life: meditating, loving, writing, gardening, reading, working, doing all the things you enjoy, you will feel me a part of you and will feel lighter and freer.  Remember that Nature holds many higher Truths within the seemingly mundane.

QUESTION:   Who are you and what do you have to give me?

            I am the part of you who remembers my origin, my birthright, my source and the many facets of how that is revealed in life regardless of what else may occur.  I am the real you who can fly in grace and bliss remembering the Lord and the Path.  I am vibrant, joyous, trusting and moving with energy as I travel accompanied by many people, beings, animals, and all of nature as we follow the Light back home.  Colors, swirls and lights are the signposts for this Path.

 

 

 

QUESTION:        What do you want from me?

            I want you to always remember your divine beginnings that are always a part of you no matter how you look or seem.  Be aware of the many facets of your life and rejoice in the beauty of each.  Know that you can close your eyes at any time and connect with that Memory, that Source.  Rejoice and flow!  Know you are beautiful!  Know that you are divine!

 

QUESTION:      How will I remember?

            Every time you see a butterfly, a bird, the flowing sky, the colors of life you will remember the beauty that is also within and to an even greater degree than that which can be seen.  Every time you close your eyes you will remember who you really are – a child of the Divine still retaining all seeming magical abilities but really the essence of who you are.

          You could get lost in this vision and not be able to deal with the world and proactical matters thus becoming a real airy/spacey person.  Or you could think yourself spiritually better than others and develop an unhealthy, large spiritual ego

TRYING TO FLY TO PHOENIX                      April, 2008

 

 

CORE MEANING OF CARD:

            I am the one who is struggling to get off the ground and fly to Phoenix.  I am held down by not just one obstacle, but many, all blocking my flight(s).  I am the one who feels vulnerable and down-trodden, and taken advantage of.  I don’t ask for much but even that little bit is frustrated frequently.  Yet I am aware of the Master’s Hand in all things: precisely because there are so many obstacles at this time, blocking each way I try to arise.

 

 

QUESTION:             Who are you and what do you have to give me?

            I have to give you an awareness that even when things don’t work the way you want, the Love of the Lord is always there for your growth.  The gargoyles are there, not to impinge necessarily, but to protect by clocking the way, by being guardians of the gates.

 

 

QUESTION:             What do you want from me?

            Be aware of obstacles and how they block the way, yet understand that when so many occur, despite your continued patience and endeavors, it is time to let go and accept.  Keep in mind that nothing occurs that is not the Will of the Lord and best for your spiritual growth. Your limited perspective is just that – limited.

 

 

QUESTION:  How will I remember?

            You do your best and allow the Lord to allow or not.  Put forth your effort, always, and then if things don’t open up, let go of your will and allow the Lord’s Will and karma to evolve.

            Beware of becoming fearful because of this one event that was not to happen.  Try again, at some other time, when circumstances and money allow.  The obstacles are not always there.
